A non-radioactive competitive immunoassay kit for the rapid quantitative measurement of cAMP. No neutralization, extraction, drying, or reconstitution of samples is required. Samples are treated with 0.1N HCl to lyse the cells, stop endogenous phosphodiesterase activity, and stabilize the released cAMP, which can then be analyzed directly in the microtiter plate.
