Description
Overview	Full-length, recombinant, mouse basic fibroblast growth factor expressed in E. coli. A multi-functional factor with chemotactic activity for numerous cell types. It plays a role in the proliferation of neuronal precursors and in neuronal differentiation. A potent angiogenic factor both in vivo and in vitro. Activates phospholipase D in endothelial cells. Mouse FGFII shares 95% identity with human FGFII. Useful for studies of cell activation and signaling.
