Overview	MILLIPLEX MAP Canine Pituitary Magnetic Bead Panel is used for the simultaneous quantification of the following 5 canine pituitary hormones: Growth Hormone (GH), Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH), Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH), and Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF). This kit may be used for the analysis of all or any combination of the above pituitary hormones in canine serum or plasma samples, canine tissue extract, or cell/tissue culture supernatant samples.
Background Information	Called the “master gland” because it controls many other endocrine glands, the pituitary gland secretes a number of key hormones that play important roles in the regulation of metabolism, growth, and reproduction. Millipore’s Canine Pituitary Magnetic Bead Panel enables you to explore various aspects of reproduction, growth, metabolic homeostasis, and pituitary-related diseases such as acromegaly, growth hormone deficiency, diabetes insipidus and pituitary tumors.
