Application This Anti-Acetylcholine Antibody is validated for use in IH for the detection of Acetylcholine.

Application Notes Immunohistochemistry: 1:250-1:2,500 using free floating sections by the PAP technique on rat cholinergic areas. Tissues should be fixed with a mixture of nitrobenzyl alcohol and gluteraldehyde (Chagnaud, 1989). Gluteraldehyde is required for staining; not recommended for formalin or paraformaldehyde fixations without gluteraldehyde.

ELISA: 1:1,000-1:5,000

Immunocytochemistry: 1:1,000-1:5,000

Western Blot: 1:1,000-1:2,000

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

Specificity Acetylcholine. By immunohistochemistry on rat basal forbrain and spinal chord sections, the antibody specifically stains nerve cell bodies and fibres (Chagnaud, 1989).
