Application Notes Immunocytochemistry:
Rabbit anti-GRP94 from a previous lot detected localization of GRP94 (green) in HEK293 cells. Blue staining is DAPI which stains the nucleus of the cell. Previous lots of this antibody showed positive testing for immunocytochemistry on HeLa, COS7 and HEK293 cells.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user

Entrez Gene Summary HSP90 proteins are highly conserved molecular chaperones that have key roles in signal transduction, protein folding, protein degradation, and morphologic evolution. HSP90 proteins normally associate with other cochaperones and play important roles in folding newly synthesized proteins or stabilizing and refolding denatured proteins after stress. HSP90B1 is an endoplasmic reticulum HSP90 protein. Other HSP90 proteins are found in cytosol (see HSP90AA1; MIM 140571) and mitochondria (TRAP1; MIM 606219) (Chen et al., 2005 [PubMed 16269234]).[supplied by OMIM].

Storage Conditions Stable for 1 year at -20°C in undiluted aliquots from date of receipt.
Handling Recommendations: Upon first thaw, and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
