Background Information DNA damage regulated autophagy modulator 1 (DRAM1) is a lysosomal protein used by p53 to regulate macroautophagy. DRAM1 is necessary for p53-mediated apoptosis. DRAM1 is often found to be under-expressed in many tumor types. DRAM1 has also been found to be regulated by p73.
