Background Information	CARM1 (coactivator-associated arginine methyltransferase 1) is an arginine N-methyltransferase that catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group from S-adenosyl-L-methionine to arginine residues. This protein-arginine methyltransferase that works in conjunction with p300 and GRIP1 to enhance transcription. CARM1 methylation targets include histone H3 at Arg17 and p300 at Arg2142. Background Information

CARM1 (coactivator-associated arginine methyltransferase 1) is an arginine N-methyltransferase that catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group from S-adenosyl-L-methionine to arginine residues.
