GIBCO® StemPro® MSC SFM XenoFree has been developed for the growth and expansion of human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and Adipose-derived Stem Cells (ADSCs) under completely serum-free and xenogeneic (xeno)-free conditions. Using StemPro® MSC SFM XenoFree, human MSCs or ADSCs can be expanded for multiple passages while maintaining their multipotent phenotype (i.e. ability to differentiate into osteogenic, chondrogenic and adipogenic lineages). Each kit contains 1 x 500 ml StemPro® MSC SFM Basal Medium and 1x 5 ml StemPro® MSC SFM XenoFree Supplement. StemPro® MSC SFM Basal Medium is stored at 2 to 8°C and stable for 12 months. The StemPro® MSC SFM XenoFree Supplement is stored frozen at -5 to -20°C and stable for 12 months.
