[1] The IP KIT contains anti-GFP magnetic Beads (2 mg/mL) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) with sodium azide (0.1%).
[2] Using NP-40 cell lysate buffer in the kit is required, otherwise, the magnetic beads may be precipitated.
[3] Shipping: Magnetic Beads kits are shipped at ambient temperature in which magnetic beads are provided in liquid buffer.
Anti-GFP Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Product Description
The Anti-GFP magnetic Beads, conjugated with Anti-GFP antibody, are used for immuneprecipitation (IP) of GFP proteins which expressed in vitro expression systems. For IP, the beads are added to a sample containing GFP proteins to form a bead-protein complex. The complex is removed from the solution manually using a magnetic separator. The bound GFP proteins are dissociated from the magnetic beads using an elution buffer. Anti-GFP Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Antibody Information

GFP Background Information
The green fluorescent protein (GFP) is a protein that exhibit bright green fluorescence when exposed to blue light. GFPSparkTM is an improved variant of the green fluorescent protein GFP. It possesses bright green fluorescence (excitation/ emission max = 487 / 58 nm) that is visible earlier than fluorescence of other green fluorescent proteins. GFPSparkTM is mainly intended for applications where fast appearance of bright fluorescence is crucial. Its amazing ability to generate a highly visible, efficiently emitting internal fluorophore is both intrinsically fascinating and tremendously valuable. It is specially recommended for cell and organelle labeling and tracking the promoter activity.
