[1] The IP KIT contains anti-CAMKIV magnetic Beads (2 mg/mL) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) with sodium azide (0.1%).
[2] Using NP-40 cell lysate buffer in the kit is required, otherwise, the magnetic beads may be precipitated.
[3] Shipping: Magnetic Beads kits are shipped at ambient temperature in which magnetic beads are provided in liquid buffer.
Anti-CAMKIV Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Product Description
The Anti-CAMKIV magnetic Beads, conjugated with Anti-CAMKIV antibody, are used for immuneprecipitation (IP) of CAMKIV proteins which expressed in vitro expression systems. For IP, the beads are added to a sample containing CAMKIV proteins to form a bead-protein complex. The complex is removed from the solution manually using a magnetic separator. The bound CAMKIV proteins are dissociated from the magnetic beads using an elution buffer. Anti-CAMKIV Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Antibody Information

CAMKIV Background Information
Ca 2+/ calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 4 (CAMKⅣ) belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family, and to the Ca 2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase subfamily which is widely recognized as an essential enzyme implicated in the phophoinositide amplification cascade. Ca 2+/calmodulin dependent protein kinase (CAMK) can be activated by the introcellular increased Ca 2+ and then apt to combine with the target protein. Ca 2+/ calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 4 (CAMKⅣ) is a multifunctional CaM-dependent kinase protein with limited tissue distribution, that has been implicated in transcriptional regulation in lymphocytes, neurons and male germ cells. All of the isforms of this family, including myosin light chain kinase, phosphorylase kinase, CaMK1, CaMKⅢ and CaMKⅣ have EF-hand structure.
Full Name
