[1] The IP KIT contains anti-NDRG1 magnetic Beads (2 mg/mL) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) with sodium azide (0.1%).

[2] Using NP-40 cell lysate buffer in the kit is required,otherwise,the magnetic beads may be precipitated.

[3] Shipping: Magnetic Beads kits are shipped at ambient temperature in which magnetic beads are provided in liquid buffer.

Anti-NDRG1 Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Product Description

The Anti-NDRG1 magnetic Beads, conjugated with Anti-NDRG1 antibody, are used for immuneprecipitation (IP) of NDRG1 proteins which expressed in vitro expression systems. For IP, the beads are added to a sample containing NDRG1 proteins to form a bead-protein complex. The complex is removed from the solution manually using a magnetic separator. The bound NDRG1 proteins are dissociated from the magnetic beads using an elution buffer.

NDRG1 Background Information

NDRG1 gene is a member of the N-myc downregulated gene family which belongs to the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. NDRG1 is a cytoplasmic protein involved in stress responses, hormone responses, cell growth, and differentiation. NDRG1 is necessary for p53-mediated caspase activation and apoptosis. Mutations in NDRG1 gene are a cause of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 4D, and expression of this gene may be a prognostic indicator for several types of cancer. NDRG1 is a stress-responsive protein involved in hormone responses, cell growth, and differentiation. It acts as a tumor suppressor in many cell types.
