Anti-SERPINB1 Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Product Description
The Anti-SERPINB1 magnetic Beads, conjugated with Anti-SERPINB1 antibody, are used for immuneprecipitation (IP) of SERPINB1 proteins which expressed in vitro expression systems. For IP, the beads are added to a sample containing SERPINB1 proteins to form a bead-protein complex. The complex is removed from the solution manually using a magnetic separator. Preparation
This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human SerpinB1 / ELANH2 (rh SerpinB1 / ELANH2; Catalog#12588-H08B; P30740; Met1-Pro379). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.

SERPINB1 Background Information
SerpinB1 is an endogenous inhibitor of serine proteases recognized for its anti-inflammatory and host-protective properties. Serum SerpinB1 levels are elevated in patients with type 2 diabetes compared with that in healthy subjects and are negatively correlated with serum LDL-C. serpinB1 as an endogenous protein that can potentially be harnessed to enhance functional beta cell mass in patients with diabetes.
