[1] The IP KIT contains anti-LMAN2 magnetic Beads (2 mg/mL) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) with sodium azide (0.1%).
[2] Using NP-40 cell lysate buffer in the kit is required, otherwise, the magnetic beads may be precipitated.
[3] Shipping: Magnetic Beads kits are shipped at ambient temperature in which magnetic beads are provided in liquid buffer.
Anti-LMAN2 Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Product Description
The Anti-LMAN2 magnetic Beads, conjugated with Anti-LMAN2 antibody, are used for immuneprecipitation (IP) of LMAN2 proteins which expressed in vitro expression systems. For IP, the beads are added to a sample containing LMAN2 proteins to form a bead-protein complex. The complex is removed from the solution manually using a magnetic separator. The bound LMAN2 proteins are dissociated from the magnetic beads using an elution buffer. Anti-LMAN2 Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Antibody Information
Immunogen
Recombinant Human LMAN2 / VIP36 protein (Catalog#12455-H08E)
Species Reactivity
Human LMAN2 / VIP36
Source
Monoclonal Human Mouse IgG2a
Preparation
This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human LMAN2 / VIP36 (rh LMAN2 / VIP36; Catalog#12455-H08E; Q12907; Asp 45-Arg 322). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Applications
Immunoprecipitation (IP), Minimum Protein Purification
Anti-LMAN2 Magnetic Beads Immunoprecipitation (IP) Kit Alternative Names
Anti-C5orf8ALCAM Magnetic Beads-Immunoprecipitatiopn (IP) Kit;Anti-GP36BALCAM Magnetic Beads-Immunoprecipitatiopn (IP) Kit;Anti-VIP36ALCAM Magnetic Beads-Immunoprecipitatiopn (IP) Kit
LMAN2 Background Information
The L-type lectin LMAN2 (also known as VIP36) appears to be specifically required for the accumulation of GPRC5B in the Golgi complex and restriction of GPRC5B transport along the exosomal pathway. This may occur due to interference with the adaptor protein GGA1-mediated trans Golgi network-to-endosome transport of GPRC5B.A Golgi-traversing pathway for exosomal release of the cargo protein GPRC5B in which CD2AP facilitates the entry and LMAN2 impedes the exit of the flux, respectively.
Full Name
lectin, mannose binding 2
