[1] The IP KIT contains anti-IL-20 magnetic Beads (2 mg/mL) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) with sodium azide (0.1%).
[2] Using NP-40 cell lysate buffer in the kit is required, otherwise, the magnetic beads may be precipitated.
[3] Shipping: Magnetic Beads kits are shipped at ambient temperature in which magnetic beads are provided in liquid buffer.
Anti-IL-20 Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Product Description
The Anti-IL-20 magnetic Beads, conjugated with Anti-IL-20 antibody, are used for immuneprecipitation (IP) of IL-20 proteins which expressed in vitro expression systems. For IP, the beads are added to a sample containing IL-20 proteins to form a bead-protein complex. The complex is removed from the solution manually using a magnetic separator. The bound IL-20 proteins are dissociated from the magnetic beads using an elution buffer. Anti-IL-20 Magnetic Beads-IP Kit Antibody Information

IL-20 Background Information
IL2/Interleukin-2 belongs to the IL-1 family. It is a cytokine structurally related to interleukin 1. IL2/Interleukin-2 can be detected in skin, trachea, and other tissues. It is produced by activated keratinocytes and monocytes and transmits an intracellular signal through two distinct cell-surface receptor complexes on keratinocytes and other epithelial cells. It has been shown that interleukin-2 transduce its signal through signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) in keratinocytes. It may be involved in epidermal function and psoriasis. It also regulates proliferation and differentiation of keratinocytes during inflammation, particularly inflammation associated with the skin. In addition, IL2/Interleukin-2 also causes cell expansion of multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cells. A specific receptor for this cytokine is found to be expressed in skin and upregulated dramatically in psoriatic skin, suggesting a role for this protein in epidermal function and psoriasis.
