Preparation and Storage
Background: GPR27
GPR27, also known as SREB1 (Super Conserved Receptor Expressed in Brain 1), is an orphan receptor belonging to the G protein-coupled receptor family. It is highly expressed in brain, ovary, testis, heart, prostate and peripheral leukocytes. The high sequence conservation and abundant expression in the central nervous system suggest the existence of fundamental neuronal systems consisting of SREB family members and their endogenous ligand(s).
