Preparation and Storage
Background: PILR-beta
Mouse PILR-beta is a type I transmembrane (TM) glycoprotein involved in cell activation. It contains a positively charged TM domain that interacts with ITAM adaptor molecules and it is expressed on NK cells, macrophages, granulocytes, and dendritic cells. Its extracellular domain (ECD) shares 76% aa identity with the ECD of its paired inhibitory receptor, PIRL-alpha.
