Preparation and Storage
Background: NKp80/KLRF1
NKp80, also known as killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily F, member 1 (KLRF1), is a type II transmembrane protein with a C-type lectin domain in its extracellular region. NKp80 is expressed at the cell surface of virtually all NK cells as a dimer of approximately 80 kDa. It has been shown to function as a co-receptor with natural cytotoxicity receptors (NCR) to induce activation of NK cell-mediated cytolysis.
