Detailed Description

AMRESCO’s Rapid Western Starter Kit is a convenient way for researchers to purchase AMRESCO’s premier Western blotting reagents in one simple kit. The kit includes AMRESCO’s Rapid Transfer Buffer RapidBlock™ Solution for Western blotting applications. AMRESCO’s RapidBlock™ Solution reduces blocking time to 5 minutes on PVDF nitrocellulose membranes. This protein-free formulation minimizes cross-reactivity non-specific antibody binding, generating blots with low background enhanced signal-to-noise ratio. AMRESCO’s Rapid Transfer Buffer is a simple, single component system for quick efficient transfer of proteins from SDS-PAGE gels to membranes. Transfer is completed in 10 20 minutes using a standard semi-dry wet transfer apparatus, respectively. Rapid Transfer Buffer is a methanol-free, non-hazardous formulation that is compatible with PVDF nitrocellulose membranes. It is used for transfer of proteins from standard Laemmli gels, commercial pre-cast gels, AMRESCO’s NEXT GEL®.
