AMRESCO's RIPA cell lysis buffer is used for total cell lysis, protein solubilization is compatible with many applications, including reporter assays, protein assays, immunoassays protein purification. RIPA buffer contains the nonionic detergent, Nonidet® P-40 Substitute, plus two ionic detergents, sodium deoxycholate SDS. Simply, resuspend cells in cold RIPA Lysis Buffer. Incubate on ice, then pass the cells through a pipette several times. Pellet the cellular debris transfer the cell lysate to a fresh microcentrifuge tube.
Composition: 149 mM Sodium Chloride, 50 mM Tris pH 7.5, 0.1% Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate, 1% Nonidet® P-40 Substitute, 0.5% Deoxycholic Acid, Sodium Salt
