An affinity matrix used for the isolation of target proteins fused to an intein-chitin binding domain. Be used for crude extract of E. coli containing pTWIN constructs expressing target protein-intein-chitin binding domain fusion protein. Features:Binding Capacity:2.0 mg maltose-binding protein/ml bed volume released from the bead after cleavage of the fusion protein expressed from pMYB5 control vector. Support:4% high cross-linked agarose. Supplied as a slurry in 0.02% sodium azide.
