Application Notes Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:750 on 4% paraformaldehyde fixed tissue.

It is recommended that the antibody is diluted in PBS containing 10% normal goat serum and 0.5% Triton X-100. AB1574 has been used for both light and electron microscopic studies of rat retina, cortex and hippocampus.

Western blot: It has been reported that this antibody works for Western blot (Minelli, 1996).

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Immunogen C-terminus of rat GAT-3 (aa 607-627) coupled to KLH (Johnson, 1996). This sequences is identical to amino acids 607-627 of mouse GAT-4 but shows no significant similarity to mouse GAT-3.
